Komori Corporation (Sumida-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Satoshi Mochida) is proud to
announce that its subsidiary, Komori France, has signed the first European installation of the
J-throne 29, 29-inch sheetfed UV inkjet digital printing press at Imprimerie Edgar.
Imprimerie Edgar
Komori France marks a major milestone with the first European sale of its new J-throne 29
digital press to Imprimerie Edgar, a long-standing partner and recognised leader in
commercial printing. The agreement was finalized following the Crossover Event, held on
November 26–27, 2025, at the Komori Graphic Centre Europe in Utrecht.
At the event, which brought together numerous European clients, the J-throne 29 impressed
with its outstanding performance: flawless print quality, optimised productivity, simplified
maintenance, and reduced environmental impact.

“As a long-term Komori partner, we are thrilled and proud to be the first company in Europe to
invest in the J-throne 29,” says David Bernabé, President of Imprimerie Edgar. “We were
impressed by its capabilities. This new press will strengthen our Komori equipment fleet and
enable us to serve our clients with even greater responsiveness. Service has been at the
heart of our strategy since the company’s founding.”

Guillaume Gauger, Managing Director of Komori France, adds: “We are pleased to further
strengthen our collaboration with Imprimerie Edgar. The J-throne 29 represents the future of
digital printing and opens up new opportunities for our clients.”
With this first installation, Komori reaffirms its ambition: to reinvent digital printing and support
printers in their technological transformation.
