Slate Group to Take Creativity and Turnaround Times to a New Level in 2023 With Purchase of Third Komori Press

Slate Group, based in Lubbock, Texas, plans to expand its impressive creative services offerings even further in 2023 with the installation of its third Komori press, a Lithrone G40 advance perfector (GL840P advance) with LED-UV curing system. The eight-color 40-inch press joins two Komori GL540 presses with coaters and LED-UV already successfully producing the much-in-demand, value-added marketing pieces Slate Group creates for a diverse range of clients. The company anticipates the GL840P advance will double its throughput with its ability to print two-sided print jobs up to two times faster, significantly shortening the turnaround for the high-quality pieces the company is known to produce.

Additionally, the GL840P advance can handle substrates ranging from light text weights to 24-point board, making it possible to choose from an array of substrates depending on the requirements of the application.
